La Casa de La Terraza is a lovely little village cottage, totally restored and now ready for your holiday in Andalucia.

The major attraction here is a large sunny patio-terrace, facing to the south where you can enjoy the very best views over Gaucín, down through the Genal Valley, beyond to Gibraltar and even on to Africa; one view, three countries, two continents, one ocean and one sea. The terrace is laid out with all the furniture you will need for open-air eating, sunbeds and even a swing for the little ones. Last but not least, the plunge pool (2m x 2m x 1m deep) offers a refreshing way to cool off if that delicious Andalucian sun becomes a little too much.

The interior, on two floors, is decorated in typical colours of the region and with a mixture of traditional and modern furniture. Upstairs there is a large living room with an exposed beamed ceiling. Then there are the two bedrooms each with a balcony (one with double bed, the other with twin), and a spacious and airy bathroom. On the ground floor there is the entrance hall, a well-equipped kitchen, a cosy little sitting/dining room with wood-burning stove and a delightful little patio ideal for eating in the fresh air.

The village of Gaucín is famous for the spectacular views, as well as for it's peace, tranquility and clean fresh air. Resting in the middle of the Ronda mountains, it is readily possible to take all manner of walks through the forests and national parks or visit other attractions such as the town of Ronda itself. The nearest beaches of the Mediterranean are only 35 km away while the Atlantic coast at Tarifa is hardly much further.

Cancellations:

Cancellation must be received in writing (fax or e-mail) no later than 5 days before arrival. Cancellations after that time will be charged at 20%. Cancellations at one day notice are charged 50%. No-shows are charged 75%.
