The Small Print (aka Terms and Conditions)

Rates:

Prices are given as provided by the villa owner. Sometimes things vary, or there is some variable that we cannot show. We will confirm the exact price of your villa and any options available in the course of dealing with your enquiry/booking. Please note that some villa prices are subject to VAT (either included or "plus VAT") while others are not.

Contract:

Villas of Spain acts as an intermediary, to provide you with a service which is free of charge to you. When you make a booking, you are making a contract with the villa owner concerned.

Reservations:

When we send you confirmation details of your reservation, you know that you have a definite reservation. Until we send you that confirmation, you do not have a definite reservation. We normally confirm reservations within 24 hours of receiving your booking request, although sometimes it takes a little longer. If you haven't received a confirmation within 3 days, something has gone wrong so please contact us. Once you have sent a booking, it is your responsibility to be sure that it has been received and confirmed. Some villa owners request a credit card number in order to guarantee a reservation. You may send that to us through our secure server, using the link we give you. Unless it is necessary to actually pay a deposit (see below), no payment will be taken from your card at this time. Because some villas are privately owned, sometimes it is necessary to make payments by bank transfer.

Deposits:

Some villa owners do require a deposit. The deposit policy of each villa is shown on the villa page. If a deposit is required, this will either be charged to a credit card or we will send you bank details of where to make a bank transfer.

Cancellations:

If you need to cancel, contact the villa owner in writing, with a copy to us so that we can follow it up for you. Make sure you receive an acknowledgement back. Within the chargeable cancellation period, it is up to the villa owner whether they charge you the cancellation amount. When you make a reservation, you are confirming that you have read and agreed to the cancellation policy and the terms and conditions shown on this site. As the cancellation policy for each villa may be different, please make sure you have read the policy for the villa you are booking. Villas of Spain does not charge you an administration fee if you have to cancel. It's best to have travel insurance arranged, just in case you have to cancel.

Accuracy of information:

Villas of Spain makes every effort to accurately describe the villas on this website, but sometimes changes occur that may not be immediately reflected here. Neither the villa owners nor Villas of Spain can be held responsible for such changes. On occasion a situation may arise in which a villa is temporarily withdrawn. Although we would try to inform you of any changes as soon as we are advised, we cannot guarantee to do so. We reserve the right to make changes to our website and these terms and conditions at any time.
