Cascada de las Golondrinas is the very last house along the road out of Cabrera, where the road comes to an abrupt halt in a tumble of rocks and wild palms. The villa stands in a wonderful position beside the steep stream bed, with the mountainside gradually climbing up and away from the garden. The garden and pool terrace therefore don't really have a boundary but simply blend away in a profusion of native plants.

The villa is typical of Cabrera, with a shady patio and sunny terraces facing out toward the beautiful views. Being on a slope the bedrooms are on the lower level and lead out straight onto the pool terrace. The lounge, dining room and kitchen are up above (but on the entrance level), and they have further terraces offering both sun and shade to suit your whim. The decor of the rooms is especially attractive with strong bold colours.

For outside dining there is a built-in barbecue, and dinner time has a wonderfully unique quality of light here. As the sun drops in the sky, the rocks take on a deep pink hue.

In the centre of Cabrera (approx 500m) there is the Arch Bar serving drinks and snacks, and two restaurants: Los Pastores and Riad Cabrera. There are many more bars and restaurants in Turre, catering for all tastes and budgets.

Cancellations:
