It's hard to imagine a more secluded and private spot, right in the centre of Cabrera village. Step through the moorish arch, wind your way to the gate, and finally you will arrive in the inner courtyard of Geranium 7. Move through to the other side and there are 40 miles of uninterrupted vistas.

The interior of the house is tastefully decorated and contains the features that make Cabrera houses so individual; marble floors and staircase, a moorish stone arch over the fireplace and lots of traditional Al -Andaluz tiling. The white and mulberry colours were inspired by the fact that the region was once a centre for producing silk.

There are two double bedrooms each with a craftsman-made bedhead and an en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath. The upstairs bedroom has Juliet balcony that looks up to the moorish ruins on La Pilica. It also has direct access to the upstairs terrace which faces westwards and is an ideal spot for completely private sun-bathing.

The other terrace leads out from the living room to face that same spectacular view. It is close to the kitchen and an ideal spot for outdoor dining, or even a barbecue. At the entrance to the house there is an enclosed, totally sheltered courtyard that makes an alternative place for sitting out, under the shade of a lovely carob tree. Finally, to make a great holiday complete, the house includes use of the nearby Oasis Club swimming pool.

What We Say:

We can't provide a photo of the front of the house because I left my helicopter at home that day, and such is the elevated and private position of Geranium 7, that would be the only way to take the picture!
