This charming seafront cottage is one of the original village buildings in the delightfully authentic fishing village of Arrieta. It has been restored to a high standard by the same people who run the Eco Finca de Arrieta, so the green credentials are assured.

The cosy ground-floor living room, with its panoramic sea views, has a double sofa bed and MP3 docking station. The fitted kitchen is fully equipped with fridge-freezer, gas oven, hob and toaster, as well as a dining table and chairs. There is an outdoor shower on this level.

Outside, the little courtyard is ideal for open-air dining, perfect for a candlelit meal under the stars. From the courtyard, an external wood staircase leads up to the first-floor master suite. There are spectacular sea views, and this light and airy room features a king-size bed, good-sized bathroom with wooden-surround bath, single sofa bed and a separate toilet.

The cottage is right beside the slipway which is still used by the local fishermen for hauling up their brightly painted traditional boats. And for visitors who want to join in the fishing, there is a rod supplied. It's conveniently situated in the village, and the Finca de Arrieta is only a ten minute walk away, where guests are welcome to use the swimming pool and other facilities.
