Casa El Drago is one of a pair of newly-restored Canarian country cottages, part of a finca that extends to four hectares in total. Guests here have, literally, acres of space to enjoy all the peaceful little corners of the finca as well as their own private space within Casa El Drago.

The shell of the house is pure Canarian stone-built country architecture, but the restoration has applied a touch of modern hi-tech that makes a pleasing and practical holiday home-from-home. The open space of the ground floor blends seamlessly from kitchen to dining area to lounge, and the "bedrooms" sit on a mezanine that is open to the rafters and the room below. The main double bed is at one end of the house and the third bed at the other. Naturally, the bathroom is somewhat more private. The kitchen itself provides the appliances that are likely to be needed on holiday: hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, toaster, coffee-maker.

Outdoors, the house has a nice terrace for outdoor eating and there is a barbecue area shared with the nearby Casa El Caqui. The huge lawn has sunbeds and sunshades and an ample swimming pool for the ultimate in relaxation. And if the relaxing gets too, well, relaxed, there is a well-equipped gym to burn off some excess energy.

The owners live on the same finca, assuring guests of personal attention if there is anything they need. It is their pleasure to share their grounds with their guests. This is a great little place for a really relaxing holiday, enjoying the peaceful Canarian countryside, well away from any hustle and bustle.

Cancellations:
