Casa Amistad ("Friendship House") is stretched across the slope of the hillside to exploit the magnificent westerly views and the famous Andalucian sunsets.

The garden is a special feature of this house, and is opened to the public once a year for the Cabrera Open Garden Day.

At the front, there is a broad gravel path, ideal for sitting out to enjoy the sun and the views, and also a shady pergola. To the side of the house the swimming pool shares the same sensational view and has a paved terrace all around. The villa itself has a typical central courtyard with yet more shady/sunny areas, and if all that is not enough there are two rooftop solariums. The courtyard is approached though impressive double doors leading to a large permanent outdoor dining table.

Indoors, there is of course a comfortable lounge, a dining room and an excellently equipped kitchen with granite worktops and a breakfast bar, and there is also a second sitting area with a television. All of these rooms are positioned to enjoy the views. The master bedroom (with bathroom) is likewise positioned to face the views, while the other two bedrooms (and bathroom) are in a separate wing on the other side of the courtyard.

In the centre of Cabrera (approx 200m) there is the Arch Bar serving drinks and snacks, and two restaurants: Los Pastores and Riad Cabrera. There are many more bars and restaurants in Turre, catering for all tastes and budgets.

Golf. 9 holes at Cortijo Grande (3.5 km). 3 18 hole courses within easy driving distance, including the renowned Desert Springs and Valle del Este.

What We Say:

In Cabrera, its easy to become blasé about the views (well, not easy, but I do occasionally have to pinch myself). Not at Casa Amistad though. The whole house has been designed to make the vistas accessible in every room.

Cancellations:
